On July 1, 2025, the “MedTech World Asia”, hosted by MedTech World, successfully took place in Hong Kong.
Mr. William Jin, Board Director of HTDK and Founding Partner at Mednovation, was invited to attend and joined experts from Europe, Japan, and China in an in-depth discussion on global expansion strategies and market access for medtech companies.
The event gathered a wide range of international stakeholders, including representatives from the Malta Enterprise, Japanese medical technology service organizations, US-China CDMO platforms, investors, and professionals across the sector.
Together, they explored critical topics such as cross-border collaboration, regulatory challenges, IP protection, and brand development, all centering on the opportunities and growing pains of Chinese medtech companies venturing overseas.
As a representative deeply engaged in high-value medtech innovation services, Mr. Jin shared practical experiences and observations from HTDK’s efforts in supporting Chinese medical companies to successfully land in international markets:
“Technology is the hard power. But it’s compliance, strategy, and localized resources that form the soft power to cross market thresholds.
At HTDK, we don’t just connect Chinese manufacturing—we aspire to be active participants and enablers in the global medtech innovation ecosystem.”
At HTDK MedTech, we see ourselves as an integrated service platform bridging high-value Chinese medtech with global markets.
We are committed to helping partners break through regulatory barriers, build trust bridges, and integrate go-to-market resources—ultimately enabling the transformation from product exporters to global brand leaders.
Looking ahead, HTDK will continue working alongside medtech innovators, leveraging our professional expertise to expand China’s footprint on the global healthcare stage—ensuring Chinese innovation not only goes global, but thrives there.
